Just watched this video, it is debatable if it is real or not, but the one thing it it asks is “Are you a risk taker?”

PLEASE NOT THAT BELOW IS TRANSCRIBED FROM THE RECORDING ABOVE. I AM USING DRAGON NATURALLY SPEAKING 10 FOR TRANSCRIBING AND IT SOUNDS BETTER ON AUDIO THEN BEING TRANSCRIBED, BUT THE WRITTEN WORD IS STILL BETTER FOR SEARCH ENGINES :)

So today’s my birthday. Today, July 27, 2009 I’ve turned 37 years old.

You know most people would think that I’m heading towards a mid-life crisis. And while thank G-d I generally don’t feel that yet and hopefully I never will, but it does make me reflect on, you know what I’ve accomplished until now and what I still hope to accomplish in the future. I think birthdays are really all about that. So first-of-all, in honor of my 37th birthday I decided to launch this blog RichardKligman.com and on this site I’ll be talking about I guess a cross between my personal feelings on issues or insights I have on business or ideas that I have or it could be just crazy funny things I’ve found the net. But I know I have wanted to build a site personally about me for a while now. You know I’m very into personal branding, and I think everybody should be building a personal brand and how can I talk about personal branding without having my own personal brand website. So that’s really what RichardKligman.com is all about. We’ll talk about projects I’m involved in, the companies I’ve started and really my day-to-day life as an entrepreneur.

But being it’s my birthday I think it’s a great time to launch this blog and it will take a look at the past and take a look at the future. And I think that if you look at my life at the past 37 years it’s actually been pretty exciting and I do feel a sense of accomplishment. I am nowhere near where I want to be, but I definitely have come a long way. Thank G-d I’m married to an amazing wife and I have five beautiful kids. I’m living the dream of living in Israel, which has always been a dream of mine and I have launched what is probably the best and most exciting company that I think the world has ever seen and that is Qoof.com.

Qoof has taken up the last almost 4 years of my life and it’s really a fantastic company and I love everything about it, but being an entrepreneur and the tons of ideas that always come to my head and I love to help other people. I’ve started giving seminars, and I think that’s something your’e going to see more of in the future from me. Going out and doing seminars and giving lectures trying to help other people; trying to help other people generate ideas and probably some of the side projects I will be focusing on will have to do with helping other people.

You know that G-d gives everybody talents. One of my talents or should I say the main talent that G-D gave me or the gift that G-D gave me is coming up with ideas and being able to see future trends and being able help other people with their ideas or building businesses and so that’s something I’m going to do, something I’m going to focus on.

I’ve actually found that this medium of either doing recordings or videos. Or rather doing seminars is much better than one-to-one counseling. It’s really that I don’t have the time for one-to-one counseling even though I would love to do that. It’s just that there is not enough time in the day. But whether it’s a recording or creating a video or if you do a seminar, you’re able to reach hundreds or thousands of people at one time and I think that’s better than just being able to do one-to-one consulting.

So I think you’ll see a lot more of that from me. You’ll see a lot of it in some of the seminars I’m going to conduct. And I think this 37th year is not so bad; that it’s a good thing. I’m still closer to 35 then to 40 so that something positive. And I do have some sense of accomplishment. I don’t look back and say oh my gosh what did I do for the last 37 years and I’m actually pretty happy with the way things have turned out so far. And I think the future looks bright! So follow along with me and enjoy this blog and please comment. Please place a comment on any of my posts as I would love to hear from you. Ok, happy birthday to me.
